DONALD J TRUMP IS THE 47TH PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA

TRUMP MADE THE OBAMAS, THE CLINTONS & THE CHEYNES IRRELEVANT IN THIS ELECTION.

President Trump has done it again and defeated not only Kamala Harris but also the American Establishment. They tried to indict him, and hold him on ridiculous and trumped-up charges, the Democratic Prosecutors and Judges showed complete partiality and made several attempts to keep him out of the race. Had it not been for the U.S. Supreme Court's intervention Trump's name may not have been on the ballot in many States.

Apart from winning the usual red (pro-Republican states), he also won almost all of the swing states, which Real Clear Politics had him ahead all along despite several polls showing Harris in the lead. At this time (2 AM EST) Trump's electoral college vote stands at 277 and once all the votes are counted he is likely to end around 300.

It was a sign of desperation when Kamala Harris and other Democrats started calling him a Nazi, a Hitler, a danger to democracy. Joe Biden even called Republican voters 'Trash', which may have re-energized the Republicans and brought them out who were otherwise not thinking of voting. Kamal Harris had a tough job, especially with the last four years of Biden-Harris regime where inflation rose to the highest levels, food prices rose substantially and mortgage rates rose so high that many Americans could not meet their mortgage payments. So, with that record Harris stood no chance. In addition, President Biden's dithering on Ghaza ceasefire and continuous supply of bombs to Israel to keep killing Ghazans (more than 47,000 dead so far, mostly women and children) disgusted many Americans Muslim & non-Muslim alike.

Another major shift that has taken place in American politics is that the usual stars like The Obamas, The Clintons, The Cheynes, and many more who held sway in American politics became irrelevant and redundant in this election. The American electorate did not listen to them nor followed their preaching. In view of this election result, it would be appropriate for all these pundits to vanish from the political scene and go work for their charities. I don't know if people will even buy their books anymore.

President Trump seems to have brought a Senate majority with him. There is also a chance of a clean sweep, as Republicans could retain a majority in the House of Representatives.

It is good to know that Trump has some smart people like Elon Musk and others with him, hopefully, they will help move the economy in a positive direction and quickly.
